The position
Ready for a change? Join our highly motivated and friendly development team, starting immediately. Your tasks will be exciting and responsible right from the start. We are constantly developing our reporting solution List & Label and are constantly renewing our technological basis.
We need your comprehensive overview of current .NET/C# technologies and your awareness of the importance of clean code and unit testing. Your code will be executed daily by many end users - of course not without peer code reviews, daylies and intensive collaboration in a highly motivated team. As you can see, we have exciting challenges to offer - it's guaranteed never to be boring.
The specific tasks you take on, which will grow over time, depend on the knowledge, inclinations and experience you bring with you. We plan in an agile way and have short release cycles - so we can react quickly to new developments and implement innovations promptly.
We use the latest tools and technologies, whether in the development environment (VS2022 Enterprise, .NET 8, GitHub Copilot), for bug tracking (Redmine), in the wiki (Confluence), chat (Mattermost) or on the CI server (TeamCity). Our workstations are optimally equipped both technically and ergonomically.
Our development team consists of dedicated specialists and generalists. Agile project planning with regular stand-ups, short distances and flat hierarchies characterize us. You work in a team with other developers. We like to share knowledge and encourage and challenge each other. In everyday life and also at regular team events.
Your profile
- You have good programming skills in .NET/C#. You are no stranger to clean code, TDD, benchmarks and profiling.
- Do you have experience in the distributed development of larger projects and in dealing with source code management systems? Not a must, but all the better!
- You have strong communication skills, a good command of English and the ability to work in a team.
- You are excited about new technologies, like to adapt to them and contribute ideas to the team.
- We don't require you to have a degree or specific training as long as you have acquired the required knowledge elsewhere and know your way around. Tricky problems are a welcome challenge and will not let you go until you have found the solution.
- Software development is your thing, it excites you and you enjoy it!
- You like to join a knowledgeable and committed dev team with flat hierarchies and enjoy working towards common goals.
